Sandbox
The Sandbox environment configures the general-purpose applications into separate environments for each Tenant. Customizing for Tenants is implemented in the Sandbox environment, and the implementations of other separated Tenants cannot be seen. In other words, from the Sandbox onward, the environments are independently configured as separate Sandbox and Prod environments for each Tenant. The separation of Tenants is based on the CALS Studio account in the Sandbox.
The customized content in the Sandbox is deployed to the Sandbox Application for verification, and if there are no issues, it is then deployed to Prod. Deployment to Prod can be done using the Publish feature in Sandbox Studio. When you publish from Sandbox Studio, the implemented content in the Sandbox is sequentially checked in and deployed to the Tenant's Prod environment.
Applications deployed from the App environment are not immediately applied to Tenants. Each Tenant must proceed with the deployment in their respective Studio to distribute the implemented content provisioned from the App environment. At this time, newly created components, controls, menus, etc., from the App environment are in a released state in the deployed Tenant. After applying, you proceed with the deployment to apply the permissions. If only permissions were applied, you can use the application immediately after deployment without the need for a check-in.
