Unmasking Method

To request unmasking, use a control to request unmasking (①) when approval is required, and approve the unmasking request from another screen (④). Confirmation of unmasking is indicated by displaying the approved unmasked data (③) using the control that requested the unmasking. If not approved, a warning message is displayed (②).

Unmasking is registered as a service for Button Control.

In the default settings for Action configuration, select the Component with the Unmasking Business Object Field (⑤), select the approval Component (④) in the Optional Unmasking Action Parameter, and set the Confirm Control and approval value (⑥). The masked data approved for unmasking will be unmasked and displayed until the approval check time (Expire Check Control + Expire Time).

NOTE: Unmasking Parameter Description

• Reason Component: Component for recording the reason for the approval request.
• Confirm Control: Control where the approval code is entered when confirming approval.
• Confirm Value: Approval code to be entered by the administrator upon approval (e.g., Yes/No).
• Expire Check Control: Control for calculating approval time expiration.
• Expire Time (Second): Expiration time in seconds set based on the approval time control.
• Approval Limit: Setting to limit the number of approved unmasking actions.
