Field

Field means the Field in the Business Object.

During the creation of a component, the fields selected from the Business Object are automatically generated as controls within the component. However, controls added by the user as query or search items must be manually mapped to fields in the Business Object.

For Table Columns of List Type used for querying, mapping to fields in the Business Object is mandatory. However, when used in search conditions, mapping to fields in the Business Object is not mandatory.
