Password Reset

This feature allows you to configure the password reset process, which can be customized for each application and tenant. Password issuance methods include system-generated passwords and user-initiated changes (via link transmission), with delivery channels varying based on the chosen method. For system-generated passwords, the channels can be Email and Message, while for user-initiated changes, only Email is available.

If there is no information on the user phone number of the application or tenant that selected Message as the sending channel, or if sending the message fails, it is automatically sent by mail.

  • How To Create _Automated Password Reset-Email
  1. Select "Automated Password Reset" in the Password Reset Option.
  2. Choose Email as the Delivery Channel.
  3. At the bottom of the Password Reset section, review the default Mail Template Setting that is called. Modify the subject or content if necessary.
  4. Click the Preview button at the top right of the Email Editor to view the preview screen, or use the Test Sending button to see how the modified content will be received.
  5. Click the Save button at the top right of the Password Reset section to save the changes.

  1. In the email body, replacement characters can only be used from the Replacement Data list. To input these characters, use the Mention feature that is called when you type #.

  2. During Test Sending, replacement characters from the Replacement Data will be replaced as follows:

    • #[Applicationname] → Actual application name (e.g., Education)
    • #[Tenantname] → Actual tenant name (e.g., educationAcc)
    • #[Username] → Actual user's name (e.g., 홍길동)
    • #[Password] → "ABC123"
    • #[Validityperiod] → "00"

  • How To Create _Automated Password Reset-Message
  1. Select "Automated Password Reset" in the Password Reset Option..
  2. Choose "Message" as the Delivery Channel.
  3. Review the default template displayed in the Message Template Setting at the bottom of the Password Reset section. If modifications are needed, edit the message subject, sender, and content..
  4. Click the Preview button at the top right of the Message Editor to view the preview screen, or use the Test Sending button to see how the modified content will be received.
  5. Click the Save button at the top right of the Password Reset section to save the changes.

  3. Click the Preview button at the top right of the Email Editor to view the preview screen, or use the Test Sending button to see how the modified content will be received.

  1. If "User Initiated Password Reset (Link)" is selected in the Password Reset Option, only Email can be chosen as the Delivery Channel.
